The much anticipated 8th Annual ForeHOPE Pro-Am Golf Tournament kicked off its festivities with an exclusive PGA Pairing Party hosted by the new Auberge Beach Residence and Spa, tournament Presenting Sponsor.
Held in the beautiful Auberge sales gallery, invited guests got to mingle with a variety of pro golfers and enjoy curated wines while listening to the Symphony of the America. Title Sponsors, Moss & Associates and The Florida Panthers, including their mascot, Stanley C. Panther, were on hand to welcome guests and address those gathered about the topic of community and giving back. The night was capped with pro golfers being randomly paired with teams for the following day’s tournament.
ForeHOPE strives to rally the business, civic and faith community around the cause of family and veteran homelessness in Broward County with proceeds benefitting those served through HOPE South Florida. Under the direction of tournament committee chair Brent Campbell, COO of Hard Rock Energy, and Andy Mitchell, President of The Fairwinds Group, the annual ForeHOPE Golf Tournament raised $230,000 for family and veteran housing initiatives! The dollars raised from the tournament resulted in an economic impact of over $1.1 Million dollars and will end homelessness for over 75 family and Veteran households this year.
Achieving a much-coveted endorsement by the PGA Pro Tour, ForeHOPE was hosted by Fort Lauderdale native and PGA winning tour player, Guy Boros. Michael Bradley, of the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour, and long-time supporter, Denis Watson, PGA Tour and Championship Tour, led the tournament day-of. For the fourth year, PGA Pro Tour guests were paired with each foursome in this intimate 18-hole best ball scramble held at the beautiful Coral Ridge Country Club.
