Moss Awarded $28.52 Million Contract for Construction of The Drake at White Rock
DALLAS, TX – Moss, a construction management company, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $28.52 million contract for The Drake at White Rock (“The Drake”), a 257,000 square foot residential project located near White Rock Lake and in the Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas.
Developed by Northfield Development, LLC, (www.drakewhiterock.com) a Dallas based residential development company, the 7-story residential building is comprised of approximately 85 modern inspired residences ranging in approximate square footage from 1,000 to more than 2,500 square feet. The Drake will also include a fitness center, pool, garden room, bike storage, personal storage, and other amenities for its residents and their pets, and is intended to offer modern conveniences such as concierge services.
“We are excited to work with Northfield Development, LLC, in bringing this high-end project to the Dallas market,” said Chris Dorman, Vice President of Moss. “The project’s contemporary design works in harmony with the Lakewood neighborhood, and uses a great mix of construction materials to connect it with the natural beauty of White Rock Lake making it a great addition to the area.”
Designed by GDA Architects, LLC, The Drake also includes secured underground parking and elevators creating controlled access and building entry. The project’s location enables easy access to the Santa Fe Trail (which leads to White Rock Lake and Deep Ellum). Construction of The Drake is slated to begin in May 2019, and project completion is estimated to occur in late 2020.
