Event Honors Grads Who Have Overcome Long Odds
Kevin Love, 24, says he owes a lot to HANDY and its annual scholarship breakfast.
The recent Florida International University graduate met Chad Moss, executive vice president of Moss & Associates, during the breakfast a few years ago, was offered an internship and then a job when he graduated. Today, he’s working in construction management for the company in Texas.
“If it wasn’t for HANDY, I wouldn’t have the job I have now,” he said. “HANDY was that opportunity that I was glad that I was given.”
