POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss’ Project Manager, HR PMO, will lead and direct high-visibility mission-critical and HRIS and HR initiatives that support Moss Human Resources. This role reports to the Senior Program Manager, HR PMO, and will work in a matrixed environment, interacting regularly with executive leadership, divisional staff, and external stakeholders and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, resources, RAID logs, and budgets, following Moss’ SPMO framework.
- Utilize Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies to balance structure and flexibility.
- Define project requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Allocate resources effectively, track progress, and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Provide regular project updates to senior and executive leadership, addressing concerns and managing expectations.
- Facilitate meetings and communicate project status clearly to all stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across HR, IT, and business teams to ensure project success.
Risk Management & Quality Assurance
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct project evaluations to assess goal achievement, gather feedback, and identify lessons learned.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and change requests.
Leadership & Team Support
- Provide guidance and support to project team members.
- Foster collaboration and accountability within the project team.
- Ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of project management and process improvement experience in a large/complex IT environment.
- Experience with Waterfall/Hybrid project methodologies.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge or experience with Workday implementation preferred.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
