Licensed Journeyman Electrician - House, NM
POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss is the #1 Solar EPC and is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman to support our electrical team in House, New Mexico.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Supervise multiple electrical crews ensuring we are compliant with state statutes
▪ Supervise, mentor, and train apprentices
▪ Ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety procedures
▪ Run electrical wiring for DC and AC circuits according to project specifications and local codes
▪ Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues within solar PV systems
▪ Performing routine inspections and maintenance checks on solar installations
▪Ensure all electrical work complies with state and local building codes and regulations
▪ Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
• Must enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
• Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials, adhering to all safety standards
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the project site
• Ability to convey a positive and professional attitude, adhering to Moss core values
• To ensure a safe work environment, a pre-employment drug screening is required EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
▪ State Journeyman license required for the state employed in New Mexico
▪ Minimum of High School diploma required
▪ Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment for solar installations
▪ Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic environment with ability to handle a high pressure environment, and prioritize work effectively
▪ Detail oriented, organized, and efficient individual able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
JOB LOCATION: House, New Mexico
CLASSIFICATION: FULL TIME – NON-EXEMPT –
HOURLY REPORTS TO: ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT
