Vice President, Planning & Scheduling

Umut Artuk serves as Vice President of Planning & Scheduling, where he provides expert planning and scheduling services across the enterprise to reduce risk and support successful project delivery. He oversees scheduling efforts from project inception through completion for Moss’ construction management division, prioritizing consistency and transparency. Umut also leads the development of processes and procedures that reflect industry best practices and align with Moss’ strategic initiatives.

Umut joined Moss in 2022 as Director of Planning & Scheduling, bringing extensive experience in scheduling and project controls across the residential, commercial, civil, aviation, and highway sectors. Prior to Moss, he held lead roles supporting both public and private clients in Florida and Texas. Throughout his career, he has managed project schedules for complex builds ranging from $50 million to more than $1 billion in value.

Driven by the belief that effective planning is fundamental to project success, Umut is committed to developing a highly skilled team that uses data-driven analysis to guide decisions. He focuses on supporting project leadership with clear strategies to navigate challenges and achieve strong outcomes. His notable Moss projects include Cipriani Residences, The Perigon, The Laurel, and Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

Umut earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Middle East Technical University in Türkiye. He is a long-standing member of AACE International and holds certifications as a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), Earned Value Professional (EVP), and Cost Professional (CCP). Outside of work, Umut dedicates the majority of his time to his family.
