Business Development Director
As Business Development Director, Bobby Sundmaker leads efforts to identify and secure new opportunities for Moss in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. By leveraging his extensive network and using a strategic vetting process, Bobby ensures that new clients align with Moss’ values and project goals. He is passionate about sharing the Moss brand and highlighting the company’s key differentiators, showcasing why Moss consistently delivers innovative, award-winning projects.
Raised in Orlando, Florida, Bobby’s career has taken him around the world. He spent six years in Osaka, Japan, as a trade liaison and corporate trainer before moving to New York City, where he was involved in two early-stage social media startups. In 2002, Bobby settled in Dallas, Texas, and transitioned into the commercial real estate industry, assisting companies with project management.
From there, Bobby moved into architecture, helping firms expand beyond corporate interiors to embrace ground-up projects in the private sector. He then sought new challenges with public sector clients, playing a key role in delivering innovative educational facilities to rural communities in Texas. Bobby takes pride in being a resource for others—whether they are clients, trade partners, or colleagues. His focus on building strong relationships has enriched both his professional and personal life.
Bobby is an active member of several industry organizations, including ULI, TREC, and Bisnow, and is involved with the Dallas Regional Chamber, Frisco Chamber of Commerce, McKinney Chamber of Commerce, and Dallas Real Estate Ministries (DREM). His commitment to staying engaged in the community and industry allows him to continuously build meaningful relationships and stay ahead of market trends.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, where he completed a double major in Economics and International Business. In his personal life, he is a husband and father with a passion for soccer and tennis. He also enjoys traveling, having backpacked through Europe twice and visited over 20 countries.
