Cory Ellison

Vice President

As Vice President, Cory Ellison is responsible for ensuring continuity, quality, and execution across high-profile projects while strengthening collaboration between field and preconstruction teams. He focuses on mixed-use, sports and entertainment facilities, adaptive reuse, and higher education projects across the Tampa Bay market.

Cory previously served as President of Ellison Construction, where he spent five years leading the company. Many of the projects— including Oxford Exchange, Sparkman Wharf, Armature Works, Hotel Haya, the Buccaneers Indoor Training Facility, Stovall House, and the Ferman Center for the Arts at University of Tampa— have become landmark destinations in the Tampa Bay area.

He began his construction career in the field as a Field Engineer, advancing through field operations and preconstruction. This hands-on experience shapes his leadership approach and commitment to execution.

Cory is driven by the lasting impact construction has on the communities it serves. He believes the most meaningful projects are those that endure— structures that shape neighborhoods, foster connection, and stand long after the work is complete. Throughout his career, he has been proud to contribute to projects that help define the places where people live, work, and gather. For Cory, the greatest reward comes from seeing a building brought to life and embraced by the community it was designed to serve.

Cory earned a bachelor’s degree in real estate from Florida State University. He is active in the Tampa Bay community through Framework of Tampa Bay and Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla.
