Mark Sochacki
Senior Vice President
Mark Sochacki, Senior Vice President, leads the Solar Business Optimization function at Moss. In this role, he oversees process and system governance to enhance the performance of strategic solar initiatives.
With over 25 years of experience in construction and engineering, Mark has been a key contributor to Moss’s growth and success. He began working with the Moss family in 2000 as a Project Engineer, later joining Moss in 2004. His project portfolio spans diverse sectors, including retail, public safety, and utility-scale solar.
From 2009 to 2014, Mark led teams to help solar clients optimize engineering and construction methods, achieving significant schedule and cost efficiencies. By 2015, he was heading the Solar Operations function, collaborating closely with solar preconstruction, self-perform teams, and business leaders.
In 2024, Mark transitioned to champion the Solar Business Optimization function. His focus is on supporting field operations by developing simple and scalable internal processes and procedures to improve safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.
Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and is a certified general contractor in Nevada. He also holds multiple industry certifications, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence.
